Anita Öst is an assistant professor at LiU, and was recently accepted as a Wallenberg Academy Fellow and a Ragnar Söderberg Research Fellow in medicine. She received her PhD at LiU 2009, did a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Germany and is now back in Linköping, establishing her own research niche. Her research interests are focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms for epigenetic inheritance of metabolic disease.
